The internet doesn’t have all the answers. But that doesn’t mean we can’t find them. On each episode of Underunderstood, we find a question the internet can’t answer — maybe it’s a dead-end Wikipedia page, an abandoned Reddit thread, or an unanswered question on Twitter — and we fill in the gaps.

Sound show Link to heading

Sound Show was a podcast from The Outline about the things we hear, and how we end up hearing them. This episode was reported by Owen Phillips. It’s about an Italian astronaut who likely submitted over six thousand noise complaints against Reagan National Airport in 2015. I edited and mixed this story.

Overall, I produced the series, working with contributors, reporting my own stories, and overseeing the technical and story aspects of the podcast.

The Outline World Dispatch Link to heading

The Outline World Dispatch was a short daily podcast about power, culture, and the future. I produced the show, wrangling stories, editing scripts, and mixing episodes four days a week.

The episode above is about the late game developer Andrew Yoon, whose board game about bitter legal struggles became, itself, a bitter legal struggle.
